Requirements

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience.
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Maintain a valid Driver’s License from the state which you reside with no major violations.
  • Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the hotel and be the liaison between the Sales and Events Office and the hotel Operations Team.
  • Prepare internal and external correspondence.
  • Review and distribute reports to Management staff as needed.
  • Assist Sales & Events office by being contact for walk in guests interested in booking group rooms or events.
  • Distribute reports and information from the Sales & Events office to the property Operations team.
  • Maintain and order appropriate level of sales collateral.
  • Deliver group room "gift bags".
  • Assist with tracking associate training classes and activities.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, outlets, hours of operation, amenities and selling strategies.
  • Perform Front Desk and Driver duties as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Executive office and surrounding areas.
  • Assist in checking all fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance.
  • Report deficiencies.
