About The Position

Oxford Casino Hotel, part of Churchill Downs Incorporated, is seeking a Hotel Night Auditor to contribute to the success of the hotel by providing excellent customer service to all guests and team members. The agent will maintain a positive demeanor, be knowledgeable of procedures, and efficiently use Visual One to assist guests with hotel needs. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a strong commercial/business awareness.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills required.
Proficient use of Visual One.
Ability to remain positive and calm when repeating redundant tasks, answering phone, creating guest reservations and answering questions.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to stay positive and calm to effectively ensure 100% guest satisfaction especially during high volume times.
Ability to assist guests with moving luggage, accessing wheelchairs which includes lifting up to 40lbs.
Ability to frequently lift and carry office supplies a minimum of 25lbs.

Responsibilities

Processes transactions associated with guests stay.
Performs nightly audits for the hotel.
Reconciles all guest folios, identifies and fixes errors.
Sells items from the retail gift shop.
Maximizes sales revenues through up-selling and marketing promotions.
Communicates with housekeeping and other Casino departments to meet guest needs.
Uses Visual One proficiently.
Remains positive and calm when repeating redundant tasks, answering the phone, creating guest reservations, and answering questions.
Works with communication devices such as telephones, radio, bulletin boards, log book, and email.
Promotes Oxford Casino Hotel at every opportunity.
Maintains confidentiality and security of relevant information.
