About The Position

Audits daily transactions for hotels. This role involves balancing daily financial transactions, processing reports, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The Hotel Night Auditor also provides guest services, maintains property knowledge, and adheres to company policies and regulations.

Requirements

Ability to operate a computer keyboard.
Ability to handle and count cash.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Accounting/bookkeeping skills.
General computer skills in τόσο word processing, spreadsheets and database.
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
One to two years related experience
Must have computer skills
Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.

Responsibilities

Balance hotel daily transactions and makes adjustments as needed.
Balance credit card transactions and makes adjustments as needed.
Process required reports for Hotel manager and Accounting Department.
Post night audit charges and closes out the cashier/transactions for the day.
Balance Manager’s reports.
Register Guests and assigns room manually while in night audit function.
Check out Guests and receives all room payments.
Administers wake-up calls.
Maintains all related records.
Answers phones and provides excellent guest service.
Responds to guests’ inquiries when needed items.
Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
Maintains confidentiality at all times.
Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
Performs other duties as assigned.
