About The Position

Baymont Inn by Wyndham Helena is hiring a part-time Maintenance Worker to help keep the hotel property clean, comfortable, and in good working order. The role involves general upkeep, minor repairs, and routine maintenance throughout the property. It suits a self-motivated person who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and takes pride in completing work well. The position requires a shifting part-time schedule. Requirements

Previous experience in general maintenance, handiwork, or apartment/hotel upkeep is highly preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or climb ladders for extended periods.
Flexibility to work a shifting part-time schedule; applicants should specify their availability.

Responsibilities

Perform routine property walkthroughs to identify and address maintenance needs.
Complete basic repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical work such as changing light fixtures or bulbs, drywall patching, and painting.
Maintain and service guest rooms, including cleaning HVAC units, fixing furniture, and adjusting doors.
Assist with upkeep of common areas, exterior grounds, and facility equipment.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest and staff maintenance requests.
Keep the workshop and tool inventory clean, organized, and safe.
