About The Position

We are seeking a Hotel Maintenance & Facilities Technician for our Engineering department. This role is responsible for keeping our property safe, functional, and beautiful, especially during the evening hours. As part of the 2nd shift team, you will be the primary responder to maintenance issues and a key contributor to the guest experience after hours. We offer Earned Wage Access through our partnership with ZayZoon, allowing you to access up to 50% of your earned wages the next day.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance or facilities experience
Painting and wall covering skills are required
Clear communicator, both in conversation with guests and in written maintenance logs
Reliable, punctual, and committed
Valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

Hotel or hospitality maintenance background (2+ years preferred)
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and/or HVAC a significant plus
Self-starter with a steady, even-tempered approach
Takes pride in their appearance and represents the property professionally
Occasionally operate a hotel vehicle
Comfortable with frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying
Able to bend, kneel, climb stairs and ladders throughout your shift
Full mobility to respond quickly anywhere on property, including emergencies
Must be able to drive a company truck to pick up equipment and supplies

Responsibilities

Responding to guest maintenance requests promptly and resolving them to the guest's satisfaction
Performing skilled repairs and maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, wall covering, and carpentry
Executing and documenting preventative maintenance programs to keep the property in peak condition
Keeping all equipment, work areas, and departmental logs clean and organized
Patrolling the building and parking areas to identify and proactively address any safety, security, or maintenance concerns
Reporting suspicious activity or unsafe conditions to the Chief Engineer immediately
Staying cross-trained on the responsibilities of fellow Engineers so the team is always covered
