About The Position

Wentworth by the Sea Resort and Spa is accepting applications for Hotel Maintenance Technicians. Hotel Maintenance Technicians are tasked with maintaining the overall function of this Grand Hotel. Wentworth by the Sea Resort and Spa blends classic style with 21st-century convenience. Our elegant rooms, suites and villas (most with water views) showcase luxury perks including spa services, indoor and outdoor pools and intimate dining – all providing a memorable backdrop for conferences, weddings, family vacations and romantic getaways. Daily activities of the Hotel Maintenance Technician include performing routine preventative maintenance tasks such as responding to issues reported by guests, assessing repairs, maintaining the function of appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines, etc. While experience is a major benefit, we are willing to train and mentor candidates with little or no experience as long as they possess an aptitude for mechanics, a positive attitude, and a clean appearance.

Requirements

General knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC
Good customer service skills
Self-motivated
Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays
Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
Aptitude for mechanics
A positive attitude
A clean appearance
