About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining the hotel's equipment, systems, and guest room features. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, handle various repair projects including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, and respond to guest requests. A key aspect of the role is ensuring all work meets safety codes, regulations, and brand standards, while maintaining detailed records and a safe workspace.
Requirements
- A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in general maintenance (hotel or residential experience).
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry basics.
- A positive, guest-first attitude and commitment to teamwork.
- Reliability and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, systems, and guest room features.
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep everything in excellent working order.
- Tackle a variety of projects — electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and more.
- Respond to guest requests with professionalism and a smile, making sure they feel cared for.
- Keep detailed records of your work and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
