About The Position
A growing company, Home 2 Suites Hammond La, is currently seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. Our hotel maintenance staff perform a wide range of essential tasks, helping to ensure the smooth operations that result in happy customers and Enhancing Lives.
Requirements
- Minimum of (2) years' experience in maintenance work (not required).
- Plumbing knowledge.
- Painting knowledge.
- Electrical knowledge.
- Sheetrock knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as changing HVAC filters, lubricating kitchen equipment, and regular boiler maintenance.
- Schedule regular inspections of electrical equipment and/or elevators as required by state and local law.
- Work with vendors to replace old and install new equipment.
- Make minor mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or construction-related repairs throughout the premises.
- Refer to blueprints, diagrams, and manuals when making repairs.
- Arrange for the pick-up or delivery of necessary parts and supplies.
- Perform tasks related to plumbing, painting, electrical work, and sheetrock repair.
