About The Position
Join Our Team as a Hotel Maintenance Engineer/Houseperson at Comfort Suites Regency Park! At Parks Hospitality Group, we are looking for a dedicated and reliable Hotel Maintenance Engineer/Houseperson to join our team. In this blended role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the proper maintenance of the hotel facilities and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests. You’ll be responsible for both maintenance tasks and supporting housekeeping, contributing to an overall exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- A team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Maintain and repair hotel equipment, HVAC systems, and appliances to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to identify and resolve potential issues before they affect guest comfort.
- Work closely with the Housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and organization in public areas and guest rooms.
- Respond to guest requests related to maintenance and cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Handle basic repairs in guest rooms and common areas, including light fixtures, plumbing issues, and general room maintenance.
- Assist with stocking and organizing housekeeping supplies.
- Maintain the hotel’s appearance, ensuring public areas are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.
- Assist with trash removal, floor care, and other housekeeping duties as required.
