Hotel Maintenance Assistant (Morning Shift)
About The Position
The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for the upkeep of the hotel property, assisting the Chief Engineer. This role involves performing basic repair work, painting, wall covering, plumbing, electrical work, pool operations, preventative maintenance, and indoor and outdoor grounds upkeep. The assistant will maintain all fixtures and equipment according to the preventative maintenance schedule and record such maintenance in log books as required. They will also maintain and service pool and spa areas, including testing and recording as per state and local regulations. Additionally, the role includes cleaning internal areas of buildings, maintaining cleanliness of public and storage areas, and the parking lot.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of mechanic experience in a hotel or a related field.
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, and general maintenance skills.
- Ability to bend, kneel, lift, push, carry, and pull up to 75 lbs.
- Requires reaching overhead, climbing, crouching, and twisting.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities

- Clean internal areas of buildings, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal.
- Maintain cleanliness of public and storage areas, as well as the parking lot.
- Uphold hotel property upkeep under the guidance of the Chief Engineer.
