About The Position

The Town Pump Hotel Group is looking for a motivated and outgoing Hotel Kitchen Attendant. As a Hotel Kitchen Attendant, you will ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines. You will complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner. You will follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines, and wear uniform and nametag at all times while on shift. You will maintain knowledge of food preparation and service using commercial kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, chafing dishes, coffee makers, dishwashers, and refrigeration. You will be preparing food and drinks for consumption by guests as needed. You will also be stocking coolers, washing glassware, taking inventory, clearing tables, and cleaning the bar area of used glassware, plates, etc. You will store and handle food items according to established guidelines. You will maintain and clean all equipment used to serve food and beverages. You will ensure all areas that food and beverages are prepared, or served, in are clean. This includes but is not limited to cleaning and emptying trash containers, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing areas involved in preparing, serving, and consuming food and beverages. You will report all known issues with services, equipment, and property; ensure work orders are in place. You will practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens. You may be required to perform duties in other departments, as needed such as cleaning the lobby, assisting a guest at the front desk, etc. You will comply with Town Pump expectations for the confidentiality of guest and company information.
