Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
  • Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating their performance.
  • Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Manage the housekeeping budget, including labor costs, inventory of cleaning supplies, and amenities.
  • Oversee the ordering, stocking, and usage of housekeeping supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
  • Develop and enforce housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure the department complies with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet quality standards and address any issues identified.
  • Foster a positive work environment, providing ongoing training and development opportunities for the housekeeping team.
