Hotel Housekeeping Attendant
About The Position
La Quinta by Wyndham in Ronks, Pennsylvania, is hiring a Hotel Housekeeping Attendant to help maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming accommodations for guests. The role involves preparing guest rooms and assigned public areas to the hotel's cleanliness, safety, and guest service standards. Training is provided; prior hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but not required. The position offers full-time or part-time schedules, including weekend-only opportunities, flexible start times, and additional hours. The typical schedule is 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with 32–40 hours per week available. Pay is $14–$16 per hour, with individual guest tips kept by the attendant.
Requirements
- Be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
- Arrive on time, work productively, and complete assigned rooms without sacrificing quality.
- Respect guest privacy, personal belongings, and hotel policies, and demonstrate integrity.
- Treat guests and coworkers kindly and work well with others.

- Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms so they are fresh, comfortable, and welcoming for arriving guests.
- Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guest amenities.
- Sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and countertops, according to hotel cleanliness standards.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms and assigned public areas, including hallways, stairwells, and lobby spaces.
- Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance concerns and report issues to management.
- Keep housekeeping carts, cleaning equipment, and supply areas organized while following safety procedures.
- Respect guest privacy, follow Do Not Disturb and lost-and-found procedures, and respond courteously to guest requests.
- Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining the hotel's cleanliness, safety, and guest service standards.
