About The Position

The Hotel Housekeeping Attendant helps maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean guestrooms in accordance with company and brand standards. The position works primarily indoors and is based at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Uptown Charlotte. The schedule is 9 a.m.–6 p.m., with weekday and weekend availability required. Employees may also need to accommodate last-minute scheduling changes and perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed. New employees receive a $250 sign-on bonus after working 90 days. Daily pay is available, with access to up to 50% of earned wages after each shift.

Requirements

One year of housekeeping experience is preferred.
Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last-minute scheduling changes.
Must be available to work weekend shifts.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning techniques, and safe use of chemicals is essential.
Must be able to change tasks and adjust energy level to accommodate a fast-paced environment.
Must achieve required threshold scores according to brand and company inspections.
Must be able to stand for long periods; kneel, bend, crawl, squat, and crouch; tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals; and lift, push, pull, and carry approximately 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Clean guest rooms according to SREE and brand standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
Remove soiled bed and bath linens and replace them with clean linens as needed.
Remove accumulated trash and debris from rooms as needed.
Clean bathroom areas, dust surfaces, replenish room amenities, clean floors, and vacuum rooms as needed.
Report unusual circumstances to Hotel Management.
Report maintenance requests and replacement orders.
Keep the supply cart neat, stocked, and orderly to maximize job efficiency.
Organize and clean the linen closet, maintain the quality and quantity of its contents, and immediately notify the housekeeping manager or supervisor of stock shortages.
