About The Position

The Housekeeping Attendant maximizes customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean guestrooms in accordance with company and brand standards. The position works primarily indoors and involves cleaning guest rooms, maintaining supplies, reporting unusual circumstances and maintenance needs, and helping ensure linen supplies are organized and available. The posting offers full-time and part-time positions with a 7 a.m.–3 p.m. schedule and requires weekday and weekend availability.

Requirements

Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last-minute scheduling changes.
Must be available to work weekend shifts.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning techniques, and the safe use of chemicals is essential.
Must be able to change tasks and adjust energy level to accommodate a fast-paced environment.
Must achieve required threshold scores according to brand and company inspections.
Must be able to stand for long periods; kneel, bend, crawl, squat, and crouch; tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals; and lift, push, pull, and carry approximately 30 pounds.

One year of housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean customer rooms according to SREE and brand standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
Remove soiled bed and bath linens and replace them with clean linens as required.
Remove accumulated trash and debris from rooms as required.
Clean bathroom areas, dust surfaces, replenish room amenities, clean floors, and vacuum rooms as required.
Report unusual circumstances to Hotel Management.
Report maintenance requests and replacement orders.
Keep the supply cart neat, stocked, and orderly to maximize job efficiency.
Organize and clean the linen closet, ensure the quality and quantity of its contents, and promptly notify the housekeeping manager or supervisor of shortages.
