About The Position

We are currently seeking a General Manager at a hotel property in Santa Rosa, NM who will ensure that we are providing a high level of quality and guest satisfaction! The General Manager is also responsible for the daily operations of an individual property and accountable for the financial performance, physical condition, and work atmosphere of the property.

Requirements

  • College degree or higher level education; preferable BA in Hospitality Management, Business
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in hotel management
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on management style with a commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all hotel operations across multiple departments including: housekeeping, front desk, engineering and maintenance
  • Full P&L responsibilities including monitoring financial performance, budgeting, cost controls and forecasting
  • Mentoring and managing a small onsite property hotel team
  • Team development, conducting regular trainings
  • Ensure exceptional guest service standards upheld at all times
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue
  • Analyze market trends and competitors performance to inform pricing and promotional strategies
