About The Position

We are seeking a Hotel Manager to lead daily operations, drive financial performance, and inspire a high-performing team. The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of hotel operations to ensure exceptional service, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role provides leadership to the management team and staff, ensuring alignment with company values, policies, and performance expectations.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 5 years of hotel experience preferred
  • Prior management experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train hotel staff
  • Oversee daily operations and staffing levels
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • Handle employee discipline and terminations in coordination with Human Resources.
  • Oversee all hotel operations to ensure high-quality guest service and compliance with brand standards
  • Greet guests and handle special requests, complaints, and service recovery
  • Ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly
  • Conduct regular property inspections for safety, cleanliness, and compliance
  • Drive revenue and profitability by managing expenses and achieving sales goals
  • Analyze financial reports including Night Audit and operational data
  • Complete daily cash reports, bank deposits, and billing processes
  • Monitor accounts receivable, in-house balances, and collections
  • Manage payroll and scheduling to control overtime
  • Oversee purchasing and vendor coordination
  • Lead and develop a team-oriented work environment
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees for success and growth
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions
  • Promote company culture, values, and ethical standards
  • Recognize and reward employee performance
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, MSDS, and workplace safety standards
  • Conduct monthly fire drills and maintain emergency preparedness plans
  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting compliance
  • Develop and support marketing strategies to promote the hotel
  • Build relationships with local businesses, vendors, and event planners
  • Participate in community events to strengthen local reputation
  • Prepare and send required reports to corporate
  • Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
  • Manage audits (cash, key, safety, and operational reports)
