About The Position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead the opening and operation of a brand-new Home2 Suites by Hilton in West Middlesex, PA. This is a unique opportunity for a hospitality leader who enjoys building something from the ground up. As General Manager, you will play a key role in preparing the hotel for opening, recruiting and developing the team, establishing operating standards, building relationships within the community, and positioning the hotel for long-term success. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands that a successful hotel starts with a great team and a strong culture. You will be responsible for creating an environment where employees feel valued, guests feel welcomed, and operational excellence is the standard.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel management or General Manager experience, preferably in a select-service or extended-stay hotel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and developing people.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial performance, and guest service.
  • Ability to recruit, motivate, and retain a high-performing team.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with ownership and brand partners.
  • A positive, energetic, and entrepreneurial approach to leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Pre-opening experience is highly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all pre-opening activities and prepare the hotel for a successful launch.
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop an outstanding hotel team.
  • Establish a positive, service-focused culture consistent with the Home2 Suites brand.
  • Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and administration.
  • Drive guest satisfaction, online reputation, and overall service excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, team members, vendors, community partners, and local businesses.
  • Monitor hotel performance, budgets, labor costs, and operating expenses.
  • Work closely with sales and revenue management to maximize occupancy, ADR, and overall profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Lead by example with a visible, hands-on management approach.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and the overall guest experience.
