About The Position

Front Desk Agents provide an outstanding guest experience by creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment. In this key guest service role, they ensure guests needs and expectations are met by answering their questions and solving problems efficiently.

Requirements

  • Passion for providing excellent guest service.
  • Previous hotel and/or guest service experience.
  • Previous cash handling and computer experience with highly proficient skills.
  • Positive attitude, excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A physically demanding position that requires standing for long periods of time and some heavy lifting.
  • Employees must always be of a sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.
  • This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, occasional heavy lifting, and good mobility in an upper alpine environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Current First Aid and CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing quality guest service.
  • Assisting guests with all aspects of reservations in a knowledgeable manner; requires thorough understanding of Sunshine Village’s services and products.
  • Dealing with challenging guest situations in a friendly and professional manner; this includes using the switchboard and dispatch in the event of emergencies.
  • Completing accurate, daily cash-outs.
  • Maintaining public areas in and around the hotel as required.
  • Other duties as assigned including cross-departmental utilization in night audit, concierge, and janitorial departments.
