The McCormick Scottsdale is currently seeking a dynamic and engaging Front Desk Agent to join our team and help make our guest(s) stay fun and memorable. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process and delivering exceptional customer service to make every stay memorable. In this role, you will manage guest reservations, handle inquiries, process payments, and coordinate with other hotel departments to maintain high service standards. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will enhance the guest experience and uphold the esteemed reputation of Millennium Hotels and Resorts. This is a Full-time, Hourly role starting at $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in hotel guest services or customer service preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems and basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team player with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software.
  • Handle inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Process billing and payment transactions accurately.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest concerns or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely room readiness.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest security and comfort.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to enhance guest experiences.
