About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing outstanding guest service and ensuring a positive guest experience from check-in to check-out. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in maintaining smooth front desk operations while promoting a welcoming and professional hotel environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide efficient check-in and check-out services
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a professional manner
  • Process reservations, cancellations, room assignments, and payment transactions
  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation systems
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily balancing procedures
  • Promote hotel services, upgrades, and special offers when appropriate
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
  • Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
