The Hotel Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly. This role requires a positive attitude, flexibility to handle complex duties throughout the hotels with extreme care and precision, and a friendly, outgoing personality. The technician will prioritize safety, follow all applicable codes and company policies, and assist in various maintenance-related tasks. They will operate machine tools, recognize and report equipment needing repair, and maintain tools and company equipment. The role involves responding to emergency calls, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and standing/walking for long periods. Flexibility in availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential. The technician will advise supervisors of discrepancies and ensure all assigned work is completed with good workmanship. Experience in painting, plumbing, drywall repair, electrical, and carpentry is required. Staying informed on modern techniques and technical methods is also part of the role. The schedule is primarily evenings and weekends.
