About The Position

Manages reservation book and executes the use of reservation system strategies. Oversight of Guest Success team functions to maximize and drive revenue performance at Tao Group Hospitality venues. Assists the needs of the F&B operations teams across the NY Hotels with menu design/updates, supplies inventories and ordering, and general assistance as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years previous hospitality experience within a high-volume setting is preferred
  • High School Diploma Required or equivalent with an emphasis in hospitality and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Excel, Open Table, Resy, Tripleseat, Sevenrooms
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must have good positive energy throughout the day
  • Must be able to read the computer monitors and print legibly
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to move quickly through work and set the pace in the office
  • Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
  • Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Drives the standardization of reservations policies and practices across venues, where applicable
  • Attends and participates in BEO, Marketing, Guest Services meetings, as needed
  • Actively takes and processes reservations
  • Assists with incoming communication and answering guest questions.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments
  • Implements cross-venue selling techniques
  • Regularly participates in local outreach programs to enhance our guest base and make lasting guest connections
  • Works closely with the Sales teams to properly allocate all private event bookings and drive event performance in branded locations
  • Assist in preparing & submitting expense reports
  • Assist in preparing new hire training binders
  • Oversees the updating and distributing of menu updates to operations teams and marketing/beverage
  • Create experiences and special reservations for the venues
  • Coordinate supply movement between hotel branded locations
  • Submit supply orders; distribute supplies once received
  • Interact with other executives and department heads for collaboration
  • Greet and assist internal and external clients and guests
  • Prepare various forms, letters, schedules, lists, reports and memos as instructed
  • Create and share BEO details for events
  • Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
