About The Position

The Hotel Event Banquet Captain will lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with precision, ensuring clean linens, polished silverware, and chip-free china. This role involves coordinating the flow of service to ensure meals are served smoothly and on time, and guiding and motivating the banquet team to deliver top-notch guest experiences. The captain will also handle audio-visual setup and troubleshooting, and assist with scheduling, training, and inventory management.

Requirements

Customer service experience—because happy guests are the heart of hospitality.
At least 6 months of banquet food service experience—we need someone who’s seen a plated dinner or two.
Leadership potential or experience—you're not afraid to guide a team and step in where needed.
Food and alcohol certifications (or willingness to complete in 90 days)—because safety is always in style.
Physical stamina—this role includes lifting, bending, walking, and standing during your entire shift.
