About The Position

The Hotel Controller is responsible for safeguarding the integrity of property finances by ensuring compliance with internal controls, Atrium SOPs, and audit standards. This role leads annual and interim external audits, oversees accounts receivable/payable to ensure all accounts are reconciled and current, and validates daily deposits, credit card transactions, and monitors house funds with attention to accuracy and accountability. The Controller also leads the monthly close process, collaborating with Corporate Accounting.

Requirements

3+ years of financial accounting experience
2+ years in a management role
Strong working knowledge of AP, income audit, and general ledger.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice To Haves

Hotel accounting experience
Knowledge of budgeting/forecasting
Experience with PMS, POS, Coupa, Sage300, and Workday a plus.
