About The Position

The Hotel Concierge Valet Attendant is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service. This role involves providing accurate Resort information and assistance, greeting customers, receiving and parking vehicles, and retrieving cars for guests. The attendant must handle guest vehicles safely and cautiously, maintain a professional appearance, and adhere to safety practices and regulatory laws. They will also report suspicious activity and operational concerns to management and promote internal guest service standards.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver’s license with no history of motor vehicle-related citation or arrest conviction(s) within the last five (5) years in any state per WRC insurance requirements.
  • Ability to drive all types of vehicles (manual and automatic).
  • Courteous, friendly, and efficient with customers.
  • Ability to run, walk, and stand for long periods, have good visual acuity, and work outside in adverse weather.
  • Effective communication skills - verbally instructs, responds to questions, and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  • Requires a criminal history background check.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service, providing accurate Resort information and assistance pleasantly at all times.
  • Promptly greet customers pulling into the Valet parking area.
  • Receive vehicle from guest and fill out a parking ticket, informing guest of process.
  • Park the vehicle in the correct area and file the ticket and keys.
  • Promptly retrieve the car from the parking area for guests as they exit the Casino.
  • Handle guest vehicles safely and cautiously at all times.
  • Maintain professional appearance and promote guest courtesy at all times.
  • Adhere to and promote safety practices, ensuring customer, property, and equipment safety.
  • Report suspicious activity and operational concerns or issues to the bell captain, hotel manager, or lodging director.
  • Comply with regulatory laws, PP&P, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  • Ensure that equipment, tools, and materials are operated safely.
  • Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  • Perform other transportation duties as assigned.
