About The Position

We are seeking a polished and service-oriented Bell Attendant to join the team at Westlake Village Inn & Spa. This role is responsible for delivering a refined arrival and departure experience, anticipating guest needs, and upholding the property’s high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and personalized service. Deliver a refined and personalized arrival and departure experience by warmly greeting guests, assisting with luggage, and escorting guests while providing clear information about hotel services and amenities. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, including directions, transportation arrangements, and local recommendations, ensuring a seamless luxury experience. Handle, transport, and store guest luggage (including use of carts and equipment) with the highest level of care, maintaining organization, cleanliness, and readiness of lobby and service areas. Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality standards by monitoring guest belongings, following proper handling procedures, and reporting concerns as appropriate. Collaborate effectively with front office and housekeeping teams to anticipate and fulfill guest needs in a timely and discreet manner.

Requirements

  • Must have open and flexible availability based on hotel occupancy; weekend availability is required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, including speaking, listening, and understanding information in English, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions, including handling guest luggage (up to 50 lbs) and pushing or pulling equipment such as bell carts (up to 200 lbs), with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, polished demeanor.
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous customer service experience, especially in hospitality, is preferred but not required.
