About The Position
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our team at Marriott Columbia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be at least 21 years old and legally permitted to serve alcohol in South Carolina.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and glassware.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age of customers.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar and overall establishment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
