About The Position

The bartender provides guests with a quality dining experience by greeting them warmly, sharing daily specials, and interacting in a friendly manner. The bartender serves guests' food and beverage needs pleasantly, courteously, and professionally. This is a customer-facing role performed primarily indoors, with service required at any hours or days of the week necessary to meet business requirements.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working as a bartender is preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification is preferred.
• Ability to arrive at work on time as scheduled.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform according to brand standards.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks when needed.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Fluency in English, including the ability to speak, hear, read, and write.
• Ability to work any hours or days of the week necessary to meet business requirements.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and sometimes lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized service to all guests.
• Take drink orders from customers.
• Meet wait and service standards in a timely manner.
• Serve drinks such as wine and beer.
• Mix drinks and cocktails according to recipes.
• Check customers' identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age.
• Clean bars, tables, and work areas.
• Operate the POS, collect customer payments, and return change.
• Manage bar operations and maintain liquor and bar supplies.
