About The Position

This is a part-time position at the Southfield Westin. The role involves setting up and breaking down meeting and banquet rooms according to event orders and maintaining high cleanliness standards. The position also requires keeping event spaces refreshed, transporting supplies, supporting food and beverage service by bussing and resetting tables, and providing excellent guest service by anticipating needs and solving issues.

Requirements

Strength and stamina to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to be on feet most of the shift.
Attention to detail.
Clear communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work well with the team.
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down meeting and banquet rooms based on event orders and high cleanliness standards.
Keep event spaces refreshed and guest-ready throughout the day.
Help transport supplies and materials such as boxes, programs, or décor.
Support food and beverage service by bussing and resetting tables as needed.
Anticipate guest needs and solve small issues with a positive attitude.
