As a key member of the property leadership team, the Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to oversee and guide the total operations of the property. Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest level of ethical leadership to lead the property to achieve its business goals while embodying McKibbon’s Guiding Principles. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting with the overall performance of the property’s operations, including guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget, labor, and associate satisfaction. They will train associates on brand and company standards, supervise associates with positive engagement, and maintain compliance with brand and company initiatives. The role involves inspecting and overseeing safety, security, and service quality, working with corporate teams, and filling in where needed throughout the hotel operation. Responsibilities also include administrative accounting processes, reporting, cash management, attending meetings, overseeing day-to-day operations in the GM's absence, assisting with hiring and onboarding, conducting performance reviews, creating employee schedules, and documenting incidents.
