About The Position

Ensure the spa and fitness center clean and maintains the luxurious atmosphere for all guests. This is a full-time position with a compensation range of $18.00-20.00/hour, commensurate with experience and education. The role requires open availability weekdays and weekends, and the applicant must be 18+ years old. A $250 signing bonus is offered, with a 90-day waiting period.

Requirements

Must be able to speak and understand English.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Must have janitorial, laundry or housekeeping experience
Ability to follow instruction
Able to work alone as well as being a team player
Good communication skills when interacting with guests and other employees
Ability works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to pick-up shifts on short notice
Must be honest and dependable and help maintain a positive work environment
Ability to work with little to no supervision while meeting high performance standards
Must possess good time management skills and able to work under pressure
Must be organized
Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and the ability to push/pull large weight objects more than 150 pounds
Standing for extended periods of time up to 8 hours.
Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain facility
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling

Responsibilities

Cleaning all areas of the spa and fitness center
Handling different chemicals for specific areas
Maintains janitorial closet within the spa
Reports any deficiencies to engineering
Ensures all cleaning supplies are put away prior to spa opening
Takes inventory of special chemicals needed to maintain facility
Assist with spa laundry
