About The Position
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position for a Hot Shot Truck Owner Operator. The role involves some out and back runs and some nights on the road, with the flexibility to be home on weekends or run longer. We are expanding dedicated accounts for dry freight, offering great pay and home time for a good work-life balance. We value our drivers and their families, recognizing that trucking is a family decision.
Requirements
- Must own your own Hot Shot equipment (Truck and Trailer).
- Must have a current DOT Medical card.
- No DUI/DWI in the past 7 years.
- Decent background check.
Nice To Haves
- Own DOT/MC is not required, but we work with owner operators who have them.
- Experience with flatbed freight.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Hot Shot truck and trailer for various runs, including out and back and dedicated accounts.
- Manage personal schedule to balance home time and longer runs.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements regarding background and driving history.
