About The Position

JENNMAR Services is seeking Hot Shot Drivers in the Washington and Greene County area. Local and over-the-road routes are available. These are full-time positions with competitive salary, opportunities for growth, and benefits available. Drivers operate medium-duty trucks with specialized trailers to transport equipment, less-than-truckload freight, and materials to company and customer job sites.

Requirements

• Valid/current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one; the company provides assistance.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing, background checks, and MVR checks.
• Valid driver's license with a CDL A endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate medium-duty trucks with specialized trailers to haul equipment, less-than-truckload freight, and materials to company and customer job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Drive and conduct operations according to company and DOT rules and regulations.
• Secure load contents properly to prevent damage or breakage in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Communicate with dispatch or the Trucking Manager as needed.
• Oversee loading and unloading to prevent damage or breakage.
• Notify the Trucking Manager or mechanics of truck maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain detailed delivery and driving logs according to DOT regulations.
• Maintain valid certifications, a DOT medical card, and endorsements attached to a valid driver's license.
