About The Position

The Hot Shot Driver delivers batteries to dealers when requested and assists with warehouse operations and Route Managers. The role works under general supervision and guidance, with accountability for general warehouse duties, backup driving responsibilities, and occasional front-counter customer service. The driver is expected to operate with integrity and demonstrate a positive attitude.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools, such as tablets and scanners.
Clean driving record and ability to meet driver qualification requirements.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

Run Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed.
Load and unload batteries.
Perform general warehousing duties as assigned by management, including assisting customers.
Deliver batteries to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
Ensure batteries are charged, cleaned, and dated, and that stock is rewrapped after rotation.
Accurately complete reports and claims.
Interact professionally with team members, managers, customers, and other stakeholders.
Follow and fulfill all driver program requirements specified by the manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
