About The Position

The Hot Shot Driver delivers batteries to dealers and customers when requested, runs assigned routes as needed, and helps with warehouse operations and Route Manager support. The role is performed under general supervision and includes general warehouse duties, backup driving, and occasional front-counter customer service. The driver is expected to work safely and professionally, follow driver program requirements, and interact positively with team members, managers, customers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools, such as tablets and scanners.
Clean driving record and compliance with driver qualification requirements.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

Run Hot Shot deliveries and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed.
Load and unload batteries.
Perform general warehouse duties as assigned by management, including assisting customers.
Deliver batteries to customers promptly, safely, and professionally.
Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
Ensure batteries are charged, cleaned, and dated, and that stock is rewrapped after rotation.
Accurately complete reports and claims.
Interact professionally with team members, managers, customers, and other stakeholders.
Fulfill all driver program requirements as specified by the manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
