Hot Shot Driver
About The Position
Loop Linen Service, Inc. is seeking an efficient, organized, and client-focused Hot Shot Driver for its Westwego, Louisiana depot. The role focuses on route optimization and on-demand deliveries and pickups across the Greater New Orleans metropolitan area and surrounding markets. The driver operates company vehicles, prepares and verifies linen deliveries, responds to hot shot requests, and communicates delivery updates and customer needs. The position involves work in a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment and requires frequent lifting and extended periods of standing and walking.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Class D Chauffeur's License before the designated start date.
- Provide a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) demonstrating a safe driving history.
- Have at least two years of proven commercial driving experience.
- Have reliable transportation to ensure consistent and punctual attendance.
- Be able to frequently lift, move, and maneuver items weighing up to 55 pounds.
- Be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and climbing ladders as needed.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment that may include exposure to ambient dust.

- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate company delivery vehicles safely and follow Department of Transportation (DOT), local traffic, company, and transportation safety regulations.
- Deliver and pick up goods efficiently throughout the local service area, meeting scheduled route timelines and responding to on-demand hot shot requests.
- Prepare and organize linens for delivery according to company production standards.
- Verify and count customer linens accurately for inventory management and billing.
- Communicate with production teams, coworkers, management, and team members about delivery status, delays, and customer needs.
- Complete required vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and orderly.
- Represent Loop Linen Service professionally in customer interactions.
- Perform other duties and operational tasks as assigned by management.
