About The Position

The Hot Mix Operator at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Must be able to correctly weigh ingredients in both grams and pounds. Must understand the importance of adding ingredients to blender in the proper order. Must be able to learn all blending operations for all products. Must be able to keep accurate records. Must be able to blend at a rate, which will keep the drying operations going. Must be able to C.I.P. and clean related blending equipment. Must be able to perform related jobs and other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift fifty (50)-plus (+) pounds. Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, SOP’s, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience with operating a sit-down forklift
• The ability to work overtime and weekends
• All employees are responsible for the quality and food safety of all products produced in this facility.
