About The Position

The role of the Coiler Technician includes ensuring a safe work environment for themselves and their coworkers, operating coilers, selecting appropriate coils for required testing, assisting in mill maintenance, and accurately assessing and verifying run-out table and coiler attributes. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months prior rolling mill experience
• Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
