About The Position
Casanova Restaurant is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Part-Time Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. If you enjoy providing exceptional hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere, we'd love to have you on our team! As a Host/Hostess, you will greet guests with a warm smile, manage seating arrangements, coordinate with servers, and ensure every guest receives outstanding service from the moment they arrive.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage the waitlist and seating chart efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations.
- Communicate wait times accurately and coordinate seating with the service team.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and lobby area.
- Assist servers and management as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Provide excellent customer service while creating a positive first impression.
