About The Position
The Hostess is responsible for warmly welcoming members and guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. This role requires professionalism, excellent communication skills, and an ability to handle a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a fine dining, hospitality, or private club setting preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat members and guests promptly and courteously.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using the club’s reservation system.
- Coordinate with servers and dining staff to ensure efficient table service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance.
- Address member inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible.
- Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans to optimize service.
- Communicate with management regarding VIP guests or special events.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
- Uphold the club’s standards of hospitality, etiquette, and professionalism.
