About The Position
The Mimosa House is a cozy, vibrant brunch spot in Curtis Park, dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences with exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on our community vibe and love for delicious food and drinks. We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Hostess to join our team on a part-time basis. The Hostess is often the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere while managing the flow of the dining room. This role requires weekend availability.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant role preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly, welcoming experience.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain the dining area’s cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with coordinating the flow of guests to servers to ensure smooth service.
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries about reservations, hours, and menu items.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and professional environment.
