About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Host/Hostess for its Landmark Commons Bay restaurant. As a Dining Host, you will be crucial in creating a warm and enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests. This role involves greeting residents, providing updates to customers, offering work direction to Dining Associates, assisting with attentive table service, and maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting dining room. You will also support special events, holiday meals, and catering functions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of dining service or hospitality service experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Must be organized
• Good communication skills
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, Flu vaccination, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests with a smile.
• Provide updates to customers as they wait.
• Provide work direction to Dining Associates.
• Assist with providing attentive table service.
• Ensure the dining room is clean, comfortable, and inviting.
• Assist with special events, holiday meals, and catering functions as needed.
