Hostess/Cashier - Beach Blvd Steamer
About The Position
The Hostess/Cashier for Beach Blvd. Steamer is responsible for providing fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests. This role involves greeting guests at the bar, taking initial food and drink orders accurately and promptly, and delivering them in a timely manner. The position also requires efficiently and accurately processing all transactions according to island View Casino’s standard operating procedures and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the menu, including specials and seasonal items. This is a key role in one of Gulfport’s most popular restaurants, operating Thursday through Sunday from 5pm to 10pm. The position is also responsible for seating guests according to rotation requirements and maintaining proper seating and reservations documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Maintain accurate knowledge of the menu and all specials and seasonal items.
- Seat guests in the restaurant according to rotation requirements.
- Maintain proper seating and reservations documentation.
