About The Position

The Host is responsible for greeting and screening patients, visitors, and guests, using GRETE principles to welcome them with enthusiasm and professionalism. This role involves ascertaining guest needs, answering questions about the facility, providing directions or escorting guests to their destinations, and controlling access into the facility. These services may be provided across various Loma Linda University Health hospitals including LLUMC, LLUCH, LLUECH, or LLUSH. The Host also performs other duties as needed. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read, write legibly, and speak clearly in English with professional quality
  • Ability to push/pull wheelchairs
  • Ability to use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
  • Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
  • Ability to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure

Responsibilities
