About The Position
Chef David LeFevre has carved a niche in Manhattan Beach with eclectic, chef-driven restaurants focusing on soulful food, engaging service, hand-crafted cocktails and boutique wine selections. We are looking to recruit skilled, highly passionate, experienced and motivated Hostess/Maitre'D's here at Manhattan Beach Post. A qualified Host Candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year hosting in an upscale, casual atmosphere. Excellent multi-tasking skills, working well under pressure and an ability to smile amidst the hustle & bustle of a busy restaurant is required. Being Guest First, quick-thinking and have grace under pressure are qualities we hold in very high regard. Candidates for this position will possess humility, integrity and respect. A flexible schedule is preferred – dinner hours during the week and brunch /dinner hours on the weekends. Sundays are a must. Most of all we are looking for individuals passionate about hospitality and relationship building. If you’re a host that a Guest can’t help but smile at, then you’re exactly what we’re looking for!
