Requirements

LOVE for the restaurant industry
Ability to follow detailed directions
Ability to follow standard restaurant procedures
Ability to prepare food according to specifications
Ability to maintain standards in food and beverage quality
Ability to safely utilize a variety of kitchen tools and machinery
Ability to handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions with accuracy
Ability to serve all guests to high standards in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be highly organized
Ability to clean and maintain a safe work environment
Ability to uphold company policies
Ability to contribute to a fun and lively atmosphere

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly by opening the door, smiling and making eye contact as they enter the restaurant
Constantly move throughout the kitchen and restaurant
Assist with every facet of restaurant front of the house procedures to ensure an outstanding guest experience
Manage wait list and seating procedures
Comprehensive menu knowledge with ability to communicate details
Communicate with servers and managers regarding availability of tables, seating of large parties, and special requests
Take phone and walk-in orders and input in POS system accurately
Process accurate cash and credit card transactions with point-of-sale system
Handle guest concerns by listening; informing a manager; and helping to resolve issues
Assist with bussing and resetting tables
Support team members including leadership
Execute effective communication skills
Exude positive friendly attitude under stress
Contribute to a fun and professional work environment
Ability to execute follow-through
