In 1947, Everett Kircher purchased the first forty acres of what would become Boyne Mountain for just one dollar; a leap into completely new territory that grew into the resort we know today. Forty Acres Tavern celebrates that spirit, serving up elevated pub fare, craft beers, and a lively, slopeside atmosphere where guests come to refuel after a day on the mountain and stick around for the good time. With a packed house many days of the year, the Host stand is one of the busiest, and most important, spots in the building. As a Host, you're the first face guests see when they walk through the door, and the energy you bring sets the tone for their entire visit. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in making every guest feel welcome. Everything we do at Boyne Mountain is guided by our core values — L.E.A.D.S.: Long-Term Thinking, Excellence in Execution, Attitude is Everything, Develop Great People, and Serve First. You'll be living those values every single shift.
