About The Position
Lure Fishbar New York is hiring for a Full-Time or Part-Time Host. The ideal candidate will have a guest-first approach to hospitality, the ability to anticipate guests’ needs, and a positive attitude. This role involves interacting with guests and staff, managing reservations, answering calls, and assisting in coordinating dining room personnel to ensure fast, friendly service and an exemplary dining experience.
Requirements
- One year of host experience in fine casual dining or fine dining.
- Open availability.
- A guest-first approach to hospitality.
- The ability to anticipate guests’ needs.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with OpenTable.
- Available to work nights and Weekends.
Responsibilities
- Interact with the restaurant guests, fellow staff members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner.
- Oversee the dining room and make it a warm and welcoming place.
- Ensure all guests have an exemplary dining experience.
- Actively take and process reservations.
- Answer incoming calls and questions.
- Assist in coordinating the activities of dining room personnel to provide fast, friendly service to guests.
