About The Position

We are currently seeking a host/hostess to join our team. We are looking for friendly, energetic, highly motivated people who thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. The goals of this position are to greet guests with genuine enthusiasm and hospitality, inform guests with estimated wait times, input guest information into the reservation system properly, show guests to their tables and take any initial drink orders, and bid guests a warm farewell when they depart. Additional duties include performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glass and menus, ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly, reporting on time and in proper uniform, and promoting teamwork within the restaurant to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in full-service restaurant is preferred however not required.
Display a confident and professional appearance.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well with a team.
Ability to exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 6-8 hours per shift, all the while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.
Must be able to carry about 35lbs.
Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.
Must have year-round availability.
Must have weekday and weekend availability.

Responsibilities
